For nearly twenty years, Anthony Maciel has been immersed in the automotive world. His journey began with a passion for problem-solving and precision—skills that led him to become an ASE Certified Master Automotive Technician and later an Advanced Level Specialist in diagnostics and diesel systems. Over the years, Anthony honed his craft on everything from complex drivability issues to complete engine replacements, mastering both domestic and foreign vehicles. 

As his career progressed, Anthony’s expertise extended beyond the toolbox. He took on leadership roles as a Shop Foreman, Service Advisor, and Service Manager, overseeing teams of technicians and service staff in high-volume dealerships. Managing departments that generated millions in annual revenue and processed more than 150 repair orders per day, Anthony became known for improving efficiency, mentoring technicians, and elevating customer satisfaction. He streamlined processes, reduced turnaround times, and built high-performing teams—always balancing productivity with uncompromising quality. 

But working in the dealership environment revealed a problem he couldn’t ignore: even when the work was done right, the process often left customers inconvenienced and frustrated. Taking time off work, arranging transportation, and waiting days for repairs felt outdated in a time when convenience should be standard. 

That realization planted the seed for something new. In the fall of 2023, Anthony launched Xpress Brakes with a simple but powerful idea: bring dealership-level expertise directly to the customer. No towing. No waiting rooms. No wasted time. Just professional-grade repairs completed at your home, office, or wherever your vehicle happens to be. 

Today, Anthony combines his decades of technical knowledge with the mobility and flexibility modern customers deserve.
